Pottery Intermediate (No class First week of March)
4-week intensives
These short courses have a workshop feel. Regardless which topic you choose Day 1 will be learning about the history of the subject, including showing examples of different styles conceptually and culturally for one hour. Students will then draw and design within the subject matter. In figurative intensives this will mean from the model. For vases, planters, and pets this will mean from images.
Day 2: the project in clay will begin
Day 3: Working on the project
Day 4: Final refinements and finishing. I will final fire work for pick up in approximately 2-3 weeks after the final class.
* These workshops do not include glazing. If you wish to learn about finishing your piece you can take the glazing sculpture intensive.
